Bomb's not visible

A few days ago I got on Classic and got disconnected for sending illegal data?
Anyways, I reconnect fine. That same day I was having a lot of problems on Era as well, doors and most graphics weren't downloading. Most of the other stuff like gani's and even a few other images downloaded fine. A majority did not though. I got on Era today to check again and it seems to be working now. Problem is, now bombs aren't showing at all. The only thing I see is a shadow of where it is, but I can't see the bomb nor the explosions.

I went through my Graal folder and it was gone for some reason. I copied it from an old Graal backup I had and it's still not showing. Any idea how to fix this? I'm curious as to what that sending illegal data is as well, and why images happen to be selectively downloading and disappearing(bomb1.png and who knows what else)?

I was having a possibly related issue the other day, my nephew wanted to play so I made him an account etc installed Graal.

Then whenever he would try to log onto Zodiac, the download window came up for "pull.gani" over and over, and the game would just crash.

For about two hours that's all it did until suddenly it worked fine, but whenever he tried to pull something, his player would disappear on his screen.

Windows Vista strikes again?

Eventually delete FILENAMECACHE.txt, that should fix problems of files not downloading / not seen.

Thanks, Stefan. I forgot all about that.
I'm still curious about the illegal data? I didn't have anything else open at the time, if that means anything.
I'm also wondering why images like bomb1 got deleted, and how come none were downloading. I kept track of what downloaded from the debug window, some images were downloading, most weren't, so it wasn't just a problem with the cache.

Illegal data is usually a packet your client sent to the server that included corrupted data. Can happen even if you don't modify your packets ;D
