RemoteControl - option to not store pms/profiles

Would be better if there were an option to disable storing of pms and profiles. Atm it saves all the pms into the folder 'pms' and profiles into the folder 'profiles'. Same as the graal client does (so rc and client pms/profiles are stored on the same place). You can disable storing of pms and profiles on the client (options on the playerlist, not F3), but with rc you can't disable the storing of pms/profiles..

Could this be fixed?

Don't you like to keep history?

What is your reason for this, though I guess it wouldn't be hard to add anyway.

Unfortunately though, we probably will never see an update to the external RC.

Well, first thought would be that it's weird you can disable it on the client, and not on the remote control.

And yes, I don't like to keep history (I barely use the client to play and chat, so I don't see any use of storing pms/profiles)

Before when I played UN alot, I always checked people's profiles etc and read every pm and mass message, well, when you have to many profiles in the profiles folder it would give you an error (Dunno if this still happens)

Anyways, seeing as the client rc with external windows won't store pms (as they (should) follow the option that you can disable storing of pms/profiles) it will likely not come an update for the external rc, but it would be nice though, since it will always be someone who uses the external rc and don't want pms and profiles stored *cough cough*

They're very, very nice, at least on Mac. I know Zero has said similar things for Windows.
