I just started sketching and ended up with this. I think I am going to continue on him and add more features plus some clothes.

Might look better when you color it etc., if that's what you plan on doing, but its hard to tell the difference between the coat and the shirt, around the front of the body. Had to stare at it for a bit to see the difference. :P

Fairly dull sketch, you're going to need a really great background to support it if you want it to look interested.

You might want to put the axe (I think that's an axe?) at an angle that doesn't look like the handle is being held in the hand. That's the first thing I saw in the second picture and I was like "why is the doll splitting it's own head with an axe?" and then I realized the hand was loosely hanging down. But still... if the axe handle was coming in at a different angle it would be better (and also if the handle was straight.. use a ruler!!!)
