There wouldn't it's too flat. I was looking at one while doing it. Not only are there about 4 colors there. The disk is black. There would probably be shading had there been a lighter color.

You need to adjust your monitor; you've got your brightness up too high, and because of this it appears dark to us.

Just because you use paint doesnt mean you cant make things look "3D-ish".
I made this floppy disk and pentium 4 in paints and I think they both look "3D-ish" and good

(I made them for my A+ class btw.)
