Restoration bug

I figure I might as well post this here, because its not really a suggestion, more of an annoyance.

Restoration spell...

Yesterday I had 15 people request me to cast it onto them. You know how hard it is to get food?? Well lets see... *Kills shell bomy* oh theres food right there...

-_-

I requested to remove the food restoration part of this spell a long time ago already.

We have create food items, we have a Tavern we can easily buy food thats allready made (I vote for MMT).

We can easily kill a shell bomy.

We do not need a spell to FILL the entire food bar. I'm rather tired of chasing people down to "heal" their food bar.

I travel light, I don't have room for food. Also, I don't have time to stuff myself every 15 minutes.

Just make food deplete more slowly, aswell as disabling food on restoration.

It always depends on what you do.
If you fight and hp has to be restored food goes down more fast. If not it's more slow. For example.

I have full food and its gone in the matter of 10 minutes. If we take out restoration then we need to make it deplete slower.

Yea, well I do not think there is a legitament excuse for being lazy and bugging someone else to restore you.

I can see it as a problem if there are, literally, 15 people asking you - but otherwise it's not that much of a hassle. It's like when someone asks me where stat potions are located - I just tell where, and if they need help finding it, no problem.

I personally don't consider opening a menu and casting a spell onto a player that much effort.

Each spellpoint regenerated takes 1 hunger point. It's rather horrible for someone who uses all 622 of his spell points in less than 3 minutes because his magic level raises the spellpoint cost of his spells.

Wooh. *watches value of sust ammy skyrocket*
I must agree that the spell does sort of eliminate a major aspect of the game. The amount of scripting and gfx that has gone into all the different foods, cooking, baking, etc and once you reach a high enough level to use restoration all of that becomes pointless. But I see where people are coming from on the food reduction on restoring spell points. A nerfing of the spell might be the answer, but it might also connect back to the fact that no one ever planned for people to have a level high enough to have so many spell or health points that one healing would completely deplete your food...

If you take away the food restoring part of Restoration, it'll simply be a very expensive version of Heal cast with Cure Disease.

I travel light, I don't want to be burdened with food. I took the time to raise my wisdom level high enough to cast Restoration, so I should be able to. Healing the sick every once in a while is no problem. If you're getting swamped, just ignore them, they'll go away eventually.

If you get rid of food restoring then make food depletion constant and effected only by the sustanance stat. Regen+ and whether you're healing HP/SP should have no effect on food depletion.

Weaken the effect further, and make food deplete more slowly. It's an excellent solution [:

So now you want to make food drain slower?
Uhm why dont you go worship Bile then if you dont like how fast the food drops. And if you still hate food wear a sustenance ammulet too.

The food depletion really isnt the problem here.

I dont think the food is a problem on the spell, it is a RESTORE, to full stats, I kinda think its fitting, no one wants to make a ton of food to make them even heavier than already needed, I know the n00bs ask for things but its no different than when they ask for armour or weapons, they are too lazy to get things for themselves, this wont change, they will just be asking you to create food if the restore is changed.

If foods gave regular bonuses, it'd be great. In a sense that magically putting something in your system to fight off hunger doesn't do anything for your taste buds. Maybe not altering what restoration but make food give better benefits would be the way to do this.

Or could make a "nutrition/satisfaction" bar. Gives a little bonus to secondary stats and exp gain while it isn't 0. And the only way to fill it is with delicious food.

Yea, I guess I can just toss my speed ammulet, which was practically a gift from a good friend, out the window?

It's part of the solution. It's been said that "restore" should been weakened.
