Thumbs up Built in Client-RC

I'd like to see the Client-RC built in with the client itself and accessible from any server. A server list could be loaded from the Client-RC and you can connect to any server, in which you have access to.

This would be useful for the people that enable the "Start in fullscreen" option.

We are working on this, it could be an option when clicking on the start button in the new serverlist/games GUI. Skyld already has global client-rc (added on login server), but we need to add some more functionality before releasing it to everyone.

Will the seperate RC client still be enabled once an ingame RC gets released?

I'd say, most likely. Not everything can be done via Client-RC,but im not completely sure..

There are limitations with the clientrc, yes, although we are working on adding more capabilities to the clientrc, and are also working on a new Scripted RC script to go with it.

Main problem of scripted RC was that it was not working when npcserver was down, but when it is added on the login server then we don't have that problem
The functionality of external RC and scripted RC are expanded at the same time. Right now we are adding new requesttext/sendtext options for editing player attributes, weapons, chests and flags separately. With scripted RC it was not really possible until now, and with external RC there are more and more problems with the old method (limited length of flags etc). So we solve two problems at the same time.
