VIP Hosting/Support Ticket Malfunction

Well... I'm assuming that this is a technical error... Because there's absolutely no way that this is a problem with lack of customer service...

Now, down to business. Around two weeks ago I signed into my VIP hosting and was informed that it would take 24 hours for my 100 megabytes of webspace to be activated. Fair enough. I waited until late the next day before trying to log in through an FTP client, but I got an error message (attached). I decided to be patient and wait another 24 hours. The next day I tried again and got the same error message.

At this point I was a bit frustrated as I had plans for this webspace that I wanted to implement while they were still fresh in my mind. I e-mailed [email protected] which is the e-mail provided on the Hosting Info page for people to send their problems too. When I did not receive a reply to my e-mail after several days I thought a support ticket would work better... Perhaps that e-mail is old, and forgotten (Which is something that should be looked into as well.) The ticket was a lost cause as well. The ticket was submitted over ten days ago. The status changed to 'viewed' as soon as 4 days after submission I believe, possibly sooner (see second attachment.)

So what I'm saying is there's a problem with the VIP Hosting system, and/or the Ticket system... For the hosting: The message must not be getting through that my webspace is waiting to be activated by an admin. As for the ticket... Either there's a Cyber Ghost of Christmas Future that's changing my ticket's status to 'viewed' before it's time, or somehow the answer to my ticket got lost along the way to my computer screen.

I'm not sure what your problem could be seeing how it works for me but, Last i heard about [email protected] was that, there was a problem with it's outgoing mail, so a confirmation email could'nt be sent...

I'm assuming you've confirmed your account through the email you should have recieved, after your attempt to create the vip.graal.net account? Accounts don't have to be activated by an admin, it's activated automatically soon as you complete the confirmation process in the email you recieved (If any). I just registered Admin-Playerworld108 and it's completely working right now, so you might want to try requesting the confirmation email once more.

Where's that quote from? It would've been nice if I had been notified about this through my ticket so I wouldn't be wondering where my space is... But again, Ghost of Christmas Future.

I can't find any way to re-send the verification email from the Graal Hosting Site, and I haven't found anything in my email archives yet... It's possible that it was sent to my parents email which was the original email address tied to this account... I did change that email to my personal address about a year ago, but it has the habit of switching back or some jazz... I'll check on that tomorrow.

That's what i recieved in a support ticket when i had a similiar problem awhile ago, so im just guessing the hosting is bugged once more.

I doubt the email was sent your parents email, because when requesting activation, the confirmation goes directly to the email which can be viewed in your account information.

To resend the activation email, attempt to login with your account and current password, it should say something like this:

Quote:
"Your account has not yet been activated. If you have not recieved our activation email, then please click here to have us resend it again".
You might also want to check your "Bulk" mail if you have'nt done so already, but if none of this helps, you can forum pm unixmad, or Spark for them to manually activate your account.

I don't have any Bulk/Spam mail. I will try forum PMing Unixmad or Spark though.

Unix said it's down but they'd let me know when it's back up.
