Well... I'm assuming that this is a technical error... Because there's absolutely no way that this is a problem with lack of customer service...
Now, down to business. Around two weeks ago I signed into my VIP hosting and was informed that it would take 24 hours for my 100 megabytes of webspace to be activated. Fair enough. I waited until late the next day before trying to log in through an FTP client, but I got an error message (attached). I decided to be patient and wait another 24 hours. The next day I tried again and got the same error message.
At this point I was a bit frustrated as I had plans for this webspace that I wanted to implement while they were still fresh in my mind. I e-mailed
[email protected] which is the e-mail provided on the Hosting Info page for people to send their problems too. When I did not receive a reply to my e-mail after several days I thought a support ticket would work better... Perhaps that e-mail is old, and forgotten (Which is something that should be looked into as well.) The ticket was a lost cause as well. The ticket was submitted over ten days ago. The status changed to 'viewed' as soon as 4 days after submission I believe, possibly sooner (see second attachment.)
So what I'm saying is there's a problem with the VIP Hosting system, and/or the Ticket system... For the hosting: The message must not be getting through that my webspace is waiting to be activated by an admin. As for the ticket... Either there's a Cyber Ghost of Christmas Future that's changing my ticket's status to 'viewed' before it's time, or somehow the answer to my ticket got lost along the way to my computer screen.
