Weapon Shop Sign

I made this a while ago, then today I decided to give psp a try and make it better. Note I only used lighten rbg and darken rbg, although I guess that could still be seen as cheatin in some eyes, but I want feedback on the gfx, not how I did it.

Kindof big for a weapon door sing, isn't it? Do you mean the hanging doo-dads? Or like, part of the actual door.

The grain is pretty predictable, but it looks to be pretty welly done too.

For some reason it looks like the sword is laying on the piece of wood instead of actually painted onto the wood..

That's a pretty good job on the woodgrain. At least it isn't original, or some texture that you found on Paintshop Pro. I'll have to agree with Curt1zzle & Nitkizi about the "laying on wood." Good image, though.
