Seken Description/Info

Would anybody be interested in a modern/rp server?
Well, wether or not you are i will explain what Seken will be and what its about.

Seken will be a modern world set in present time, as realistic as i can make it.
Police, Guns being illegal to have out in public,etc.
Ive developed a system for classes, leveling, skills, and attributes.
Well of course it needs to get scripted but i will see to that later when i actually have the tileset. Anyways, I want Seken to be a world where people will have many options as to what they can/cant do, without it being to outrageous or stupid. I want to eventually have Seken be several continents with different cities/towns, There will be guilds,gangs, organizations and many other groups. Weapons will do more damage than they normally do on other servers, in example: everyone starts with 10HP and the basic handgun does 5-10 damage, but over time as you increase in level your hp goes up. so, the stronger more experienced characters can take more damage. There will be quests and Events, such as Robberies, or some other similar thing that would get players invovled. On Seken, you will start at the student class and basically your class from there on is decided by the skills you use mostly.
Ive spent a long time going over the details about how everything will work, and how the server will work. When Seken is completed, there will be several quests..Classes and activities available to the players. First, we will start out as one city, later on we will develop more cities and eventually an overworld.

Sounds like a good idea but you won't get the staff to finish it.

hmm, Finding staff is a pain in the butt.
but i will get staff for it, even if i have to pay for another two years for my server to get em. All good things take time,So im willing to put time into Seken because i know it will be a great server! ^.^

sounds like a good idea, but it's a far way to get it done and to make the ideas ;(

Just because one server has used guns doesn't make it wrong for another server to use guns.

It's an idea that worked, and I think it's totally okay to use guns on a server. Era will have some competition, so what?

I tried that idea once, but didn't have dedicated enough staff, nor did I have the money for the server to continue. Good luck. Thought it may seem strange now it would be a great server once done. And as far as guns, this server will have LESS guns. It will be VERY FEW from what I can tell, as Gareth has pointed out the guns will be illegal.

Igram/Mac-10
Thats it as far as guns are concerned, when the whole of the actual pw expands there may be more...but im not sure.
And i know this server will take time, but im willing to put the money and effort into getting it up and running.

Hm. You aren't supposed to start a server alone or you won't find good staff O_o. If you do start it alone, at least do it yourself with the skill you have.

Hopefully you find a few hard-working dedicated people, which will be hard to find. I hope it goes through okay, as you Idea's don't seem bad. Good Luck.

No offense but, Assault Rifle - Problem. Even with "police" arresting you, you will just killing spree the cops. BAD idea.

Thats what Swat teams are for -.-
Plus, there will be like snipers too. And not to mention that cars can run you over ie: SwatVan :O Also, it is very difficult to get Kevlar Vests if your not a cop. Making Cops more powerful. But overall, if you mess with them...you will go down :P
