Question Strange item doubling bug

I have two sacks on Kingdoms which I acquired a good while back. They're both plain ol' sacks, weight limit 166.7 KG, made of cloth, weight 0.1 KG. They work fine as far as holding stuff is concerned, but they have a curious property: they double my inventory. As I write this post, the last four items in my inventory are as follows.

45 sapphires, four silver warrior helmets, four corns, and ten arrows.

If I open my sack, and remove, say, a recipe of dust of show enchantment, my inventory suddenly does THIS:

45 sapphires, four silver warrior helmets, four corns, ten arrows, one recipe of dust of show enchantment, a sack, ebony bow of Leucetious +1... (everything else which appears in my inventory after the sack), 45 sapphires, four silver warrior helmets, four corns, and ten arrows.

The items are linked: dropping the four silver warrior helmets will cause both pairs of them to disappear, so it's not like the items are actually being duplicated. I'm just seeing double.

The only thing which seems to clear this is reconnecting to the server. This isn't a fatal bug, or even very severe, since it doesn't remove any legitimate items or corrupt the actual contents of my inventory, but it becomes incredibly annoying: occasionally, if I then remove another item, my actual inventory will double AGAIN, leaving me with three copies of the same items, and making it almost impossible to tell what I actually have and what is a nonexistent mirror image. (That, and I have to scroll through screens of items I don't have in order to see anything I take out of my sacks.)

A sack I've purchased recently triggers the bug occasionally, but replacing the item in this bag causes the non-existent items to disappear.

Has anyone else experienced this strange bug, or do any staff have any idea what might be happening? Thanks in advance for your time.

It's just client-side lag... you scroll down the inventory and they appear again, kindof like when a program lags bad enough, and you try to drag it over another, and the program lags ONTO the other window (i.e on i.e for example)

Nothing to worry about really.

Raelyn will become famous soon enough
I have this problem too, but it shows up more when I have a LARGE number of items in my inventory, after I actually have so many items in my inventory, everything actually disappears, such as stats, items, everything but the main GUI graphic. This is really bad because it doesn't fix when I reconnect, and I'm actually afraid to pick up a pile of maps now because without /drop if my inventory blanked out I would never be able to fix it. Previously when I would pick a pile of maps (some couple hundred) my entire inventory was blank until I did "/drop treas".

If what you mean is that when, say, an application is doing lots of background stuff and is not redrawing its window properly, so moving your mouse or dragging a window over it leaves mouse/window trails, it isn't like that: the inventory responds as usual, right-clicking on a duplicated item will give the same explanation as one would normally expect, and as I said, dropping either drops both. The objects respond as you'd expect inventory items to respond, they just shouldn't (and technically don't) exist.

Same happens to me with lots of items.

It is really annoying. Only feed back I have gotten is 'use sacks more' for correcting it, which isn't too usefull.

I find my readied equipment starts to mess up, it will show pic of wrong item or an item as readied when it isn't, etc.

I think it must have to do with an array getting overrun or something odd, it can't be redraw lag because they still interface and respond to the mouse.

The biggest thing is every time you pick up a new item, all inventory below a point gets dupped again and again and again. I finish a map, I may have 16 t-rex legs that are all the same leg.

I hope they fix it.

That problem is nowhere common with me
I guess maybe it is solved by having extra carrying utensils then
I have a sack, sack of holding, 2 bags, rucksack, bury bag, and a key ring

wierd, I don't have a sack though, it must be really annoying cause then you will get slower from item weight.

when you put stuff in a sack, all the weight in the sack is cut in half on the weight in your main inventory
