Oyeah, btw, congratulations on thinking / making people think that rubies and sapphires are now worth like 100 plat each, or whatever ridiculous prices everyone is charging for them nowadays. Soon enough, people will be idiotically buying other gems for 300 plat each just like diamonds, and the economy will be further screwed.

They're used in a few medeocre alchemy recipes, and i think the samurai wand, but that's just about it. Even so, they're common enough that idiots shouldn't be charging high prices for them.

It's called demand, supply and inflation. Personally I believe all jewels should have a worthwhile use to balance their value.

lets put it this way..... if you are crazy enough to pay the prices then they will continuously charge the outrageous prices....if you...or rather if GK as a whole bands together to resist the prices that people pay or if you as a person begins to collect and sell for cheaper then in turn people will eventually lower prices..but greed is amongst us and will continue to be as long as poeple want to get better in the game. and u said it urself anyways...Rubies/ sapphires are easy to acquire so rather then complain about what people charge to buy go outside of trade into dungeons and haunted house east/west and get yourself some... and as far as what they are used for....the recipe is not medeocre...it is the best way to elvel ur mental levels...people are getting up to lvl 30 mental off of the recipe...im 18 myself. its just a matter of luck and utinsils..by the way X_X whats the recipes again i forgot XD
