I want a better pk system

I mean really, only kingdom members can pk people, while others are rtaining REALLY hard to get to lv 8, or whatever, maybe any bell can work

1.If you level 8, unless you have godly items, you should not be on b mode, you'll be ripped to shreds.
2.Its fine this way, maybe there could be one bell for non kingdoms members, but put it in some isolated area so people can't jsut be switching back and forth like crazy.

Other then that, the system is fine (no its really not, but what ya gonna do about it?) for now.

The server's called Kingdoms for a reason, and it's about joining a kingdom and roleplaying there as a member. If no kingdom wants you, you're doing something wrong, same if you don't want a kingdom and yet pk. Also, if you're in bmode, then you'll have to live with the consequences - bmode-hopping sounds like a bad idea to me.
While we're at it again, why not equal the experience you get from kills in b and pmode, so battlemode is only necessary if you really want to pk or there's a war.

but then again, some people don't want to be a in kingdom, thay like being freelancers (me), and also, have you ever heard of a world with 5 kingdoms and everyone is in a kingdom!? if everyone had to join a kingdom then there would be no bandits and mercenaries! also the main island would become useless if theres a world war!

so i think that you should be able to just be free and go in and out of b-mode, and you could have the bell deep in some cave with monsters guarding it so that you have to be really fast or high leveled to get to it, or even better, make the bell only work if you are X level or higher (X being the lowest possible level)

Meaning only strong ones can use that "service", and will most likely do so to pk and annoy players. You can be a merc in pmode, as your job description's rather a roleplaying factor than a question of bmode - bmode just says whether you can pk someone or not, which has by itself no roleplaying quality.

Graal Kingdoms was originally meant for role-playing. That's why there is still remnants of people who do so. You don't -need- to PK to RP. You don't even need items. All you need is words and a knowledge between out of character and in character.

The system is -fine-.

I just did 2 brutals, 1 in p mode and 1 in b mode, in both they gave 15k for bigworms, so I don't know why everyone is saying even out the exp.

Because in theory, you get only 75% or so exp in pmode, and more exp is what you get for risking bmode.

Independant "roleplaying" groups trying to interact with kingdoms doesn't work. *points at TBC*



I've seen mention of Kingdom Mode in older threads, and the notion sounds like th easiest and most obvious solution ever. Just have three types of modes (i think this's been sugegsted before, too):
1. Pmode - you can't get hurt at all
2. Kingdom mode - You can only get hurt IF YOU ARE IN A KINGDOM AND ACTIVELY ON TAG, AND YOU CAN ONLY ATTACK/GET HIT BY OTHER KINGDOM MEMBERS ON THEIR TAGS. Non-kingdom members can't touch you.
3. Bmode - non-kingdom members can use this to attack other non-kingdom members. Or possibly, although this should be discouraged, a guy who has a kingdom but wants to PK normal players while offtag.

I like this idea, but there needs to be a way to cut back on newbs getting slaughtered when they want fight people. like maybe having b-mode to where you can only fight people who are within 5 levels of yours. That way it would be kinda fun and not depressing.

And while discussing it, why are people able to fight in the trade house. The trade house should be a place of peace. There should be no swords, axes, bows, rods, punches, kicks, etc. There is a reason people say "take it outside".

gonna keep reviving it until there is a better system. it doesn't help if people try once and give up until it fades away. The idea is to improve the game system, so i put in my 2 cents. If everyone did that i think we would have a much better idea of what would help the server.

Yeah, i've suggested before that towns themselves should be no-PK zones, because if you just made table house no-pk, they would just block the entrance and kill everyone who tried to get in.
