:grin: it actually looks cool if you line it up right on the castle wall tiles


this is like my second real gfx i eva maddes so it sucks i know

and its small... very small but its a little ruby thing and it has a shiny party!

I could say I've seen something like it before, but a simplistic shaded circle is nothing unique.

If you did that pixel by pixel, good work. The shading is well done. If not, it's still a clean and easy-to-look at image, and shows good potential to learn about graphics and how to construct them.

What you should do is animate the light source moving around and add a shadow. It will help a lot with determining how to shade your work.

but shouldn't the shine be on the top right hand side, not left?

well the shadow is.. oh wait.. yea.. I was thinking the light sourcec was from the right.. till I looked at the shadow for an extra 2 seconds, sorry XD
