Newbie Shield, Best Shield?

The newbie shield will block anything as long as it's in front of you. As shield level goes up, though, so does the inreliability of shields. I think it's a combination of both the reflecting arrow and speed of the player. If the player keeps running at a fast pace after the arrow is reflected off his shield they'll end up running into the arrow and hurting themselves. I think that the Mirror and Lizardon Shields should be more reliable.

Also, I think that the arrow reflection should appear to all players and not to only the player that reflected the arrow. After all, the newbie shield arrow deflection appears to all players.

The only thing better about a shield higher than level 1 rather than just having a level 1 shield is that you're faster with the higher level shields.

i had never paid enough attention to see this, although running into the arrows, i never did either

Yea, it's hard to notice when you have the newbie shield for so short of time.

I think that the mirror and lizardon shield should be fixed! This is a very old bug!

dont matter to me... i dont play classic no more and a server aint great unless walking and shields and stuff is remade

Buy an event shield. That'll solve all your problems. The gold-ish one looks like a nice one for priests.
