Cursed weapons?

I was just thinking that since you have that pool that removes enchantments that it might be interesting to have cursed weapons in the game that we could drop into the pool.... just an offhand idea

...and skeletons occasionally drop items like the Short Skull Sword of Mass.
Since it is such a pain to get there, it probably should uncurse if it doesn't already. Then barbarians who were dumb enough to equip a shortskullsword "to ID it" aren't screwed for life.

Hey...Barbs don't need to equip to ID, nor can they ID armor/weapons when they start off the game.

"I equipped this unidentified short skull sword so I could ID it [to find out it's +5 dmg, so it sells for a little more than a wholly unIDed SSS - stupid idea, but that's a barb for you] and now it tells me it's cursed! And priests can't uncurse other people, and I can't read a scroll without literacy, wah, I'm a sucky hopeless bastard, somebody kill me!"

Or something like that.

Cursing is a really bad idea, once, my friend equipped a cursed weapon, and had to restart because he could never uncurse it, his level was too low, and no one at the time had Remove Curse prayer.
