Magic Chanting

Just a suggestion, and I'm sure quite a few people would disagree with me, but here goes:
Instead of just double clicking or typing "/cast <spellname>" maybe instead you can replace it with actual text, like, if you buy a spell book, and you read it (no way of failing it, or maybe if you fail you can't ever read it again, but if you succeed, you can read as many times as you want.) inside it'll have a series of words, like a poem or rhymes, and when a player chats that, then he'll cast the spell, this way, you can teach other players spells, but of course they need the wizardry skill and the right level in magic or wisdom to use it, here is a suggestion for detect monster spell:

"Stay rotation, stop your storm! Spirit, stand, and show your form!"

Or Banishment:

"Out of the mist you came riding Because your master has told you so, To bribe and to steal And to ignore all appeal, So back into the mist you shall go!"

Then someone is going to make a record of EVERY spell and spread it across the game.... when you get an idea of a system... think about if it's balanced... then think of how it can be exploited... if it can't... then you got a good idea

Yeah, I know, I thought of that, see, and it'll make it kinda like as if you're the apprentice of another person if they teach you the spell incantations, this is just a raw idea, I haven't tweaked it out yet, though maybe it can be made so that you MUST read the book to learn the spell, then use the incantations to do the actual casting.

Or maybe the incantation can be used to empower the spell... saying encantations to cast a spell is a hassle... and often a major disadvantage to slow typing players... or maybe make it so classes except for alchemist and sorceror for wizard spells and priest for prayers have to chant the spell to cast it... since theres all this debate about non-magic classes having magic

Yes, yes, that is a good idea indeed...the only thing I see is that they can hotkey it or /bind <text>, but that'll only affect a few spells.

Then you could also use incantations that don't really exist to impress newbies, and send them off into graal empowering their spells with various humorous plasebo-incantations.

"Uh, yeah I just cast burning hands - that's all, and it killed that T-Rex, you try it, but it takes a while of practicing before it works this good"

watch them run around casting burning hands chanting 'uggi uggi lol'

"Why, of course! It's just a name, like the Death Zone or the Zone of No Return. All the zones have names like that in the Galaxy of Terror."

Yes! Exactly! Most mages are supposed to be mischevious (sp?) anyway

. . .
Why are the chant's SO LONG??!!
It thought it would be in some ancient language for instance,
"Farahr Heract!"
Then it will cast.

No, it would take too long and gave an advantage for melee players again. Not to mention it would make binding/hotkeys almost useless.

Mouse pattern recognition is the best.

The idea has been edited, chanting a spell would empower it, but it can still be used just like before if you wish, and you can always bind text
