New item/money loss mode..

Ok i know i shouldnt be talking like this but it is really somethig that make me very mad, and i think is very unfair in a lot of ways.
I started with like 200 plats, then i went to my kingdom island to put battlemode on. Now i returned to the haunted houses and stuff and then i gained exp well and junk. then some FA**OTS *cough*northsidesoldier and lady auron*cough* Came up to me, killed me, now i have 0 plats left AND my shovel and AXE is gone and i cant get off this island very easily. It is unfair that some level 10 comes up to you with weapon damage+80 or somethign, slashes you one hit then he steals ur plats, in my opinion how the heck can anybody prepare their weapon anymore? It is not fair at all on the new people who use battle mode for training, and i think there should be a seperate battle mode for player killing too, so one for dungeoning and training and another for killing other players u know what im saying? im sure a lot of you out there also died alot cos of sum gits killing you and taking ur plats and items. and the worst thing is, they are STALKING people like me! And they call themselves RPers! LOL

I was about to say "ABOUT FREAKING TIME" when I saw that you lost 200 plat.

NONONONONONONONONONO. It seems like graal 2002 hasn't changed at all - too hard to gain somthing, too easy to lose it all.

Well, I thought about coming back, but after hearing this, my 700+ plat still feels unsafe. Oh well.

And Redwizard, RPing has nothing to do with PKing. If they were off tag, oh well.

Would you rather lose exp and stats when you die? Or 4 plat for every level you have?
4 plat = level 1
8 plat = level 2 etc...
Battle mode - You can kill other players on battle mode, you get all the exp.
Peaceful - You only get 3/4 of the exp, and you are protected from other players.

You get all the exp from killing monsters, but peaceful people only get 3/4 Porky...
And people don't want to run to their house every time they get money =/

Actually, though I'm not sure and you might be right, Excal, but you gain double exp on battle mode.

Here's how it is.

Battle mode gains normal experience, 100%. While in battle mode, you can attack and be attacked by members of enemy/neutral kingdoms. If you die, you will lose about 4 plat per level. If you have no money, you'll lose body parts .. and it seems that you can lose tools as well, I've found shovels and axes around. You will not gain experience for killing another player, and you will not lose experience for being killed by a player or monster.

In peaceful mode, you will gain 75% of the possible experience. You will not be able to be hurt by players at all, but if you die you will still lose the 4 plat per level, or whatever else.

Remember one thing, that being that your items drop where you died, and that you can always run back to get them.

If you don't want to get PKed, stay out of battle mode. You used to only get 50% of the full experience, but now it's 75%! Big improvement.

When it comes to money .. if it's truly that important to you, then stop at your house every few hundred plats or so to store it .. or even just find a hidden spot and put it in a bury bag! There are ways to avoid losing your hard-earned money.

I think this is a very big improvement! I no longer need to worry about losing my hard-earned experience .. money is hardly as important, in my opinion.

Yes, you cannot attack your allies

It's a good thing.
And even better, you cannot hurt yourself with spells

I"D RATHER LOSE CASH.If you can't take the heat get out of the fire, meaning get the F*** out of battle mode.

Here's your solution:

Learn how to role-play well, learn how to be compassionate. Stop scamming, stop insulting people, stop being so mean, and maybe someone will let you into a kingdom. If someone lets you in a kingdom before you learn these things, then that kingdom's leader should look over their rules again.

The new system is great! You can't expect there to be no penalty at all from dying in battlemode, and as many others said- peaceful mode now gets 3/4 of the exp, so it's not s horrible to be on it as it was before. If you are concerned about ebing killed and losing money, stay on peaceful.
