GPS or Cameras

just a question,
would it be relativly possable to script a system where you can sit at a computer, liek a graal graphic, and then say a persons name, then it goes to the level that person is in, shows them, and follows them, that would be GPS (Global Position Satelight)
or the camera would be it just goes side to side like a camera scanning the area, and you could switch from camera to camera
anyways i am wondering if thiese scripts are humanly possable or if tehy are somthing only kai would be able to do ;P

It wouldn't be that hard I would think.

But I don't know if you can use setfocus on a different level or not. If so it should be easy.

but i am just looking for a scripter to script this, i don't know what i can pay with, perhaps cyber plesure with my words or somthing, i dunno what do you want?
lag would be fine, just as long as it worked XD

How so then? Unless when you use the computer, it finds the player and warps you to player's level and stuff of that nature.

Thats what I thought. I couldn't remember another param to change the level name but I wasn't 100% sure and I didn't want to get this guys hopes down

i am not asking for the script SC, i am just looking for a scripter to script it

as far as I am aware tht setfocus works with only x and y - hence the available parameter. but has anyone actually bothered tryin somethnig like setfocus2 x,y,level; but I don't know if it even exists. so thats not much good really uinless it is a NPCserver command. someone - it would be worth trying though.

Just my two cents.. but.. i've tried making an NPC that displays the player & 5x5 tiles around them.. it turned out to be EXTREMELY laggy, and it would only display the tiles from the level I was currently in, not the tiles the target player was in (yeah, I tried fixing it, tried lots of methods, I don't think its possible to get tiles from another player)

You could have an NPC warp there, copy the board[] array and then come back.

that would probably be just as laggy as using a short timeout x.x warping is serverside for db npcs, & you'd have to do it often to get it to look right

I think npcs on gmaps can use warpto ._.
