turn off showing user's signatures and avatars in the options section if your profile. it really helps out a lot, seeing as how a lot of people here have very long and pointless signatures.

Signatures are great for showing who you are. I have no problems with a signature and a tiny bit of information about you, but to have 938247 quotes and stuff in it, is pointless.
