Like bowyer, should take a skill cookery to use.

Basically the combining of several ingrediants to make more nuitrishous and compact foods. There could be a cook hall on every kingdom island that has make pots that act basicly like anvils do for blacksmithing.

You can go up to a pot grab it to see the food items you can produce. If you have the right ingrediants you can make the item. The advantage: more +food than the total sum of +food for all the ingrediants, less weight than all ingrediants put together. The disadvantage: requires a cook to make. Also perhaps sauces that are made of ingrediants and used as ingrediants themselves in making even better foods.

Example Items

1 Water +5, 1 Patatoes +200, 2 Onions +50, 1 Carrots +20, 1 Meat +200=Stew/Soup +750

1 Flour +10, +1 Sauce +125=Spagetti +425 (explanation: flour can easily be turned into bread +250)

2 Mint Sprigs +5, Meat +200, Sauce +125=Flavoured Meatballs +475

2 Mushrooms +55=Sauce +125

Stefan isn't the only person in charge of this stuff X_x.

But yes... I like this idea

. Not only would it decrease your weight, it'll be nice to RP with.

And also it'd be nice if you could put in poison food to make the food poisionus

Yeah, put in potatoes of posion or hideous posion to have the effects of the posion.

Great idea.
A few things I would change.
The amount it heals for a start.
But it should be able to be disadvantage like you try to make something but fail and then it will only cure few hunger points, maybe even poison you etc.
It could go under one of the levels like mental, physical etc, not sure what one though.
