I put up a temp/flash thing I made. Tells a little bit about this.vars and strings. Don't rip me apart on this, tried to say the most w/ the least amount of space

I haven't used Flash in a bit, and just wanted to do some stuff. If you're interested in helping or have suggestions, cooliosis :P

You need back buttons, and a contents so people can go directly to what they need help with.

Aye, it's a work in progress XP Yes, I might add back buttons l8er and stuff. If you want to help, then that would be GREAT

P.S. I am working on a TOC (Table of Contents) but I never finished it. It is TECHNICALLY in the swf file but you cannot access it :P

Ill help you i am good at npc scripting and pretty good with npc server. I can also do html.

Anyone who wants to help, forum PM me w/ a username and password and I will set you up w/ FTP on my domain XP. I only put up flash temp so it'd be something to look @ instead ofa site full of broken links x.x

That is quite a guide. You made vars and strings explainable in 5 minutes, while it took me months to understand how it even knew what this was..

it took me QUITE a while, but I took the essentials and cut out some of the stuff that didn't need to be there. I think it's cool :P I hope that people get the necessary info. out of it. I think my next few lessons will be about arrays (simple and possibly complex) and triggeraction and tokenize. they are ALL used frequently. Most important first

You need the script text boxes as selectable.

Also, you could greatly reduce lesson writing time by loading the
pages from text files

e.g. If you have Flash MX you can have scrolling text boxes so cut down on loading time of the movie.

Theres a way to do it in Flash5 And lower but i forget.. its on www.flashkit.com

It's nice to know people like it

I hope to make it HUGE so it explains 99% of the commands, and gets people from knowing nothing to being able to do majority, if not all, things by themselves! I figure why not?

I have FlashMX, but I had to shorten and make things simple and small and complete... so it may be best to get the most information in the fastest amount of time? I tried to make the data easily understood and easy to read.
