Server Slowdowns

"GraalOnline Server and backend is designed to provide optimal network efficiency. Our servers are designed NOT to disadvantage players with slow connections. We also make efforts to ensure network slowdowns are not a result of GraalOnline Server-side components. However, some network delay is a normal consequence of playing a game with hundreds or thousands of simultaneously connections over the Internet. Delays are typically only a few seconds, but may occasionally be longer. Additionally, some delays may affect only one player, because he or she is having problems with a local network node. GraalOnline reserves the right of final judgment as to the verification of any slowdown-related claims."

This is from The Code of Conduct, about Delays/Slowdowns...
Now, on Mithica, the RC is lagging really bad, we are experancing mayor delay in RC Chat... Players seem to be fine, but I think its just the RC... If any other servers are experancing problems related to this, Mabey w should contact someone to find out whats going on...

actually i find that people that lag have the advantage in spars,quest ect.. because the person not lagging cannot hit the opponent but then again .. *looks at connection* whats lag?

its when there is a delay in the transfer of data packages between your computer and your isp, then to the thing your trying to connect to... I think its called Internet Relay or something... x.x

Though sometimes person comp has a faster sending speed then reciveing... those people have advanrage in spars because when they hit YOU you get hurt, yet when you hit THEM they are OK... I hate that...

It's probably due to the fact the one of the NPC Servers on your server is being used at an extreme level, causing slowdowns for all the other ones on that server.

its not just your connction though, its your Graphics card...
Someone can have like, T1 and a bad Graphics card, and still lag

But, most of you don't listen, and im not talking about in the game, im talking bout in RC

Last time I checked, we at Mithica were Free

I think mabey just the playerworlds.graalonine.com server might be lagging... Anyone else that is staff on a playerworld that runs on this server, check if it happenes to you

Classic RC is lagging, but it might just be me. I'm on 56k, and so everything lags for me.

hehe, but this is a mayjor delay, atleast over 30 seconds...
You don't lag that much on a 56K
