Creative Leveling Server

I just got a great idea. Remember that GS2 practice server hosted by Twinny? Well imagine that, except players could freely create their own levels! It would be like the original Zelda Online where players could randomly submit their levels to be added to the game...they basically BUILT the adventure themselves. Just imagine being able to freely build a level online with your friends without having to go to offline level editor and do it by scratch (there's not even a level editor for Mac OSX Lion so...). In fact, it could even turn out to be it's own quest. With pre-defined NPC's and scripts it wouldn't be too hard to create mini-quests such as "kill all the baddies", "carry the princess to the goal", or "solve the maze'.
Any suggestions/comments?

Would be a pretty fun thing, you could have a list of predefined classes which can be imported into the level and use an existing level editor with perhaps an interface that's more appealing while being kept self explanatory. However you'd get alot of trash on the server and if not done properly alot of griefing. Still,it's a pretty neat idea that could go along way if players are willing to invest time.

Staff should also create some content using the existing tools to show players a quality product is achievable . Don't expect to have the players do most of the work, graal is not big enough for that sadly...

The problem with asking players to make levels for you is that players can already do that on their own playerworld.

It's a good idea though, just doesn't really work on Graal - at least with this playercount.

*It would definitely work as an iPhone server though*

Zero was doing something like that, used a simple tileset and you could place blocks, warps, and such

Wouldn´t that get some players thinking they are funny and destroy the map?

They are being monitored!
Even if monitoring wouldn't work they could just change it so you must submit your levels and get it approved, but then again that would probably take away it's purpose.
Imagine if you were playing Minecraft and you had to have a blueprint and outline of what you wanted to build, then wait for it to get approved?
