I'm african american and we just elected a black president but there's no content appealing to me at all on Classic Graal. There's a serious lack of black heads and events related to every sport but not basketball. This is unacceptable.

I find it ridiculous that people would demand there own subculture to be added to a worldwide online game.

"Oh hey. We just elected a new prime minister so i'm wondering why I can't log on classic, play some cricket and drink beer around a bbq".....

If Classic had a basketball event that would be so great, however, i'm not too sure how it could be scripted so it can be realistic

This comes down to all the other event ideas that will never happen simply because everyone is lazy and never get anything done.

Who remembers that hockey idea in that ice field level? Yeah, it only needed a puck scripted yet no one could do it.

Yeah, I hosted it but had to use a football (soccer ball) as there was no other choice.
The image would've been done in 5 minutes depending on detail; it was the scripting that needed to be done.
No one could do it, and no one will.

There was one back on graal2000, but I haven't seen one on classic. I can't imagine it'd be that hard since it doesn't need to jump (like a soccer ball), but then again I am not a scripter by any means.

I'm not sure how the new clientside HD works but it'd be easy to detect a sword hit and set a vector based on player position and where the sword hits it.

the harder part would be determining puck speed

To the devs/RC people that can create things:
Has anyone attempted to make the puck for Ice Hockey?
Ice Hockey's a very simple sport really, it's like soccer except you use a stick and puck.

The level has already been made (chriskillem_icearena_01.nw), all we need is a puck
to be scripted as the puck/stick image can be made within 5 minutes or so; whether you
guys want the stick to have a gani when hitting the puck... I don't know.

EDIT:
Jade has made her version of Ice Hockey (gc_jade_hockey.nw), but the scripting of the puck is pretty awful.
