Npcs Gone

I lost all my npcs at the market. I had to go somewhere, so closed graal, and I thought that the NPCs would go to the basket when my time was up. When i came back, i found all my npcs gone. Here is a list:
Violin
Saxaphone
Green Hat
Orciana (dont know how to spell it)
Harmonica
Trumpet
I am really mad that these are gone, i spent alot of money on them. I spent 150 gralat on the green hat and now its gone =(

Stefan cleaned out the baskets before he redid the market with the signs and stuff maby that was it... I've never really tried this whole thing though so I could be wrong
