Providence Suggestion Box

Feel free to post suggestions here. I'm not looking for any "provdence sux" responses, or saying how ugly and disgusting the levels look. I'm looking for clean responses (I.E: I don't really like Providence's levels because they yadda yadda yadda) please. I'll forward the suggestions to Tyne and we'll try and improve it to the best of our ability.

Kingdoms (once enough people play Providence), but if they have something like the Dustari drawbridge, make it still possible (if difficult) to get in. It'll be more realistic that way.

"Status symbols": Stuff that doesn't really improve your situation in any way, but is really expensive, and shows that you're rich. It'd give thieves something other than money to steal!

my suggestion is go ahead and add some kingdoms or stuff to actually give us somthing to do. I chose wizard and I have nothing to do but walk around =\

We are going to add Kingdoms in as soon as we get some really good Rpers to willingly start some. Kamuii was going to, but has decided to start a Thief guild instead. Drakaden is making his own colony. I'm not sure if it's a Kingdom.

Kingdom's will be nearly impossible to get in to. For just one person, anyway. If I was a Warrior trying to run inside a Kingdom I'm not a part of, I can except to either get stopped by the drawbridge, shot down by archers, cut up by soldiers, or blasted by mages. THAT is realistic. Not put a drawbridge and then we use tile eraor 2 gte in LOL!@.

Thievery skills will be out as soon as the new Status is implemented. This will also include:

HP and MP
JP (Job Points)
Hunger
Stamina
Night & Day
Weather
Defense Percentage
Attack Percentage

The last two are hence why you see armour and swords for sale that seemingly do nothing. They will add to your attack or defense respectively, depending on what you buy. And yes, it DOES make a difference. If I attack you and have a high attack percentage, you can get hurt badly, depending on if you have a high defense percentage or not.

Nifty, eh?

And there should be no reason to "walk around and do nothing". You should be ROLEPLAYING. That's what we're all about. If you want to walk around and play CTF and crap like that, go to Main Server. They don't want to RP there, just "walk around and do" stuff.

Anyway... I agree. RPing is great, and I've been having fun doing it since I established my character. But even I (the Easily Amused One) can get bored saying "*steals Malak's pants*" and then Malak saying "*blasts Lysantra Goldtooth into the 438th dimension using a super-ultra Ultima spell*". Basically, without actually being able to steal things/cast spells/do martial arts, people can play god.

In my opinion I think its fun to be dragons....but being one is also all about disadvantages.....I mean the attack sucks, everyone also tries to pk you, and when you use the roar button it disables your sound fx and everyone elses in the level......=\, in my opinion you need to improve the dragons more cause you have to make it someway where the regular graal players..and dragons are equal and right now the players (who are not dragons) have the advantage

(I say this for all the dragon people including me =D)

these are my opinions...more about dragons =D

I think it would be cool (if possible) if your a dragon and you can be a horse to normal graal players (who arent dragons)

nextly, out of all the classes as of now...the muscians are the most powerful

I should of put these all in one post but as time goes on I think of new things.....In my opinion I think there should be more fairy talic creatures....you know Gryphons, unicorns....etc =D

I am not sure what providence has on most of its levesl since the map is too blank

Try and keep your map updated often, it helps...otherwise, I get the impression that providence is mostly empty when it probably isn't.

hehe, any major level updates I make, I usually update my map so I can see how it looks.
