Player Chat x/y (offset)

Slight bump but I imagine this wouldn't be too hard to implement as it is already happening whenever a player is riding a default horse.

May have been suggested previously but it would also be nice if chat text and outline colours were customisable through script, the main reason I'd like this is that alot of servers use snow tilesets this time of year and quite often default text can be harder to read, while it is possible to script your own chat in order to accomplish this I can imagine it being significantly slower.

Can imagine this being something Stefan would add as a customisation on iPhone

Player chat(and nicks) need to be able to be customized a lot more. I'd like to see the ability to change the text colors, shadow colors, offset, alignment, size, font... Otherwise everyone ends up having to script custom systems just for nicks/chat and it bogs down everything for no real reason. Especially when you have to throw it in movement most of the time.

This pretty much says it. Either way I don't see why implementation should be a real problem.

I guess you could sort of do this by having an NPC in a certain position repeat the player's text.

I always used showtext so I could add a fadeout effect and stuff. I personally would rather have scripted chatting because you could add images kinda like BBCode.
