Hello there, I'm Jimmy (aka Codein). Quian'Dor, a playerworld which mixes elements of RPing and also the features of an RPG, is in desperate of level designers.
Currently, our plan is to perfect the top set of levels and we cannot do this alone. We are not looking for the best but just hard workers.
We need scripters, level designers and graphics designers. We prioritise levels at this stage of development though.
But hey, I bet you're more interested in what Quian'Dor actually is about, in more detail.

What is Quian'Dor?[/url]
Quian'Dor, as stated above, is an role-playing world which aims to create an environment which is not only fun for role-players but also those who are completely new to it.
We feature a large overworld, parts of which will be dynamic. This means that you are able to dig tunnels in the underworld, an ever-changing forest island which is the home of Elves (a playable race, explained more later) and islands that are available to claim and build upon.
Our overworld is the home to many civilisations and races, some of which are unique. In the north, we have the large human city of Cronburg, the Elven colony of Sol'Gedai and hidden from the rest of the world, a halfling settlement which has been isolated over time. To the south, however, there is a much darker presence which includes the drow and the orcs.
Races? What races?
There will be many different races on Quian'Dor. Here is a list with indepth descriptions:
- Human - The humans are the most technologically advance race. The humans were the first to invent clockwork mechanics. A grand clock tower in the heart of Cronburg is the pinnacle of their achievements, which allows everybody who purchases a crude pocket watch (human made) to adjust the time to perfection. The humans are a powerhungry race. Their Imperialism keeps all the other races at the top of their attention. They have produced several great wizards and they are fine masons, which they display in the massive wall surrounding their city. Only the Dwarves have better masonry skills compared to this sturdy race.
- Elf - The elves are extremely advanced in magic and incredibly wise. They also hate destroying nature so their homes are often trees twisted in to shape by magic, so both elf and tree can co-exist. The elves have a colony on the main land and also an ever-changing forest island, which is their main residence. Elves also have an extremely large library which documents the history of Quian'Dor and also much more useful knowledge.
- Dwarf - The dwarves are very advanced in smithing and masonry. The best swords and armour come from the massive Dwarven Forges. Their biggest masonry achievement is, by far, The Wall, which is a thick large wall which defends the northern lands from the southern races.
- Halfling - The halflings inhabit Smewhabble, which has been isolated due to dark magic and self-defense.
The halflings are curious folk and have discovered things that most people thought was impossible. They are exceptional at magic and have the greatest Academy of magic to be seen in the world. They named The Northern Academy Of the Magical Arts, since they found it fitting as that. Their greatest achievement really is the Black Wood. This natural barrier was once summoned by the great Mage Frumdid III. Frumdid, however, did not realize that Forests set their own balance and a swarm of incredibly fierce creatures called Baki infested the Woods. Thus isolating Smewhabble ever since.
- Drow - The Drow are the twisted relatives of the Elves. In the Year 215 of the Creation's Timeline they called a revolution and left to make their own destiny, a destiny of power. While the elves are nature love the Drow are destructive and cruel. Their capital of Dalar'Ni'Alorin is the most impressive building ever seen. They have enslaved the brutal Orcs as their servants and hold the reins of power in the lands south of The Wall.
- Orc - The Orcs live in Clans and are very hostile against everything, including each other. They settle disputes by fighting and the general rule is: The strongest is right. The children are raised with a hate against the northerlings. They are lead by the Clan’s Chieftains and above the Chieftains are the Drow, the Orc race is ruled stabile. There are three main clans of Orcs. The Kor’Narish, the Forest Clan, the Al’Narish, the Hill clan and the Nak’Narish, the Clan of the southern plains.
- Murdrian - The Murdrian are a race completely new to the Role-Playing world.
They are a race of tall, broad, humanoids with green to gray skin tones. They live in their capital city Murdriath, hidden deep below the mountains where the Dwarves reside. Their civilization is unique in the matter that they dont have any leadership. Their leaders died at a great disaster which takes too long to write down here. The other Murdriai (Plural of Murdrian) live in large caves in polished stone houses and grow Mushrooms and breed Swines. The Murdriai offer their services to anyone who pays for it and they are fiercely loyal to their allies.
However, regardless of the natural bonded allies above are followed completely by your own free will. We encourage that you create your own destiny. Quian'Dor is your oyster
There will be many interesting features. One of which includes the island system.
The island system is where you can claim an island. From there, you can build onto it or sell it. You can build anything you request and your only limit is the amount of gold you have. Pubs, shops and playerhouses (which you can also sell or rent out) are all included in the possibilities but please, do not let my suggestions restraint your own creativity. Far fetched ideas will obviously be scrapped though.
You are able to fight monsters in real-time. This is basically to increase your stats. However, killing monsters won't be a grinding process as some monsters have a specific way to deal with them. Obviously, the bigger and more sophisticated the monster, the more sophisticated the method of slaying will be.
PvP battle will be slightly more turned based. However, instead of choosing single attacks (which is possible), you can group attacks together to form more powerful combos. These combos can be learned from battle trainers (which can very well be regular players), a book or your own experimentation.
As well as magic being used in battle, an accomplished magician can also use magic to perform basic material gathering tasks, such as cutting down trees, crumbling rocks to reveal minerals and supplying a plant with water. The effort needed to do this is based on your intelligence rather than strength.
We would also like magic to be as diverse as possible. This includes wand magic, potion magic, ritual magic. You can cast magic without a wand or stave but it will be less effective. You can also use the Magic Crystalis to perform magic and coupled with a stave, your magical ability is increased greatly. Magic Crystalis are shards of the World's Core and are extremely powerful. They are also, fortunately, extremely rare. Imagine the disaster that would ensue if the Drow had an abundance of these?
I was going to write up different ways of making money but, to be honest, there are thousands of possibilities

Here is a small example Pimmeh has kindly written:

Example:
Player Jack logs in, he notices an amount of 100 gold coins and runs into the first shop he can find. Its a weapon merchant and Jack buys a great Dwarven Hammer.
He runs into the wilderniss, despite the warnings that the guards give him, and attacks the first creature he sees.
The creature is a Maglith, a feathered mammel with long teeth, and the creature gives Jack one hell of a fight. Jack defeats the creature with a mighty swing of his hammer and the Maglith drops dead on the floor.
Jack goes back in town and shows the corpse of the creature around in the Rusty Vat. A Merchant admires his power and hires him to guard his wagon service against rampaging Orcs.
This is a very simple view that focuses on the way Jack makes his money. and not about the other features of the server.

We also have a character system where initially, you can create up to 3 characters. This increases as the time you have played increased.
So, basically, now you know what the server is about, would you like to come and work for us?
Screenshots below. Please excuse the half-finished character creation window, just an example of what it will be like.
