My Playerworld

Hello,

My playerworld is finished. I know this comes as a suprise to everyone because no one has finished a playerworld in a long time.

Let me explain to you my playerworld, it contains everything the average graalian is looking for. It focuses on community and not stuffing new rehashed content down your throat.

My playerworld is approximately 10 levels in size, the middle 5 are what i call "Central" it is where most of the action happens, as most graalians get bored of venturing too far to find another place, they will more rather sit in one place with their friends and have some fun! Sparring houses, pk zones, and that like will all be included in/around these 5 main overworld levels (there will be a few indoor levels for diffrent places, the shop and etc). This is where i anticipate 90% of the population will hang out (proven, not a guesstimation).

The other 5 levels i call the "Expansion Pack" because every good server needs to have more content as it gets more popular. With this "Expansion Pack" of levels, i will offer extra quests and stuff, in a rather easy to find, and fun to complete way. Through the use of the expansion pack of levels, players will also be encouraged to add their content, houses and "mini-areas" so that they feel their content is importaint. (How often is it your stuff will land within one level of "Central" on a server?).

The 10 level setup focuses only on community, while the community can complete one or all of the quests avalible in the Expansion Pack(s), it is very possible to enjoy the server simply by stopping by one of the shops and picking up a fun npc, and heading back to central to play it with your friends.

I think my playerworld has a lot of potiential because it is what everyone wants, in an easy to find way. It also allows the ability to add more content, without worrying about people not wanting to go after the content (because its too far or something, and they would rather sit in central).

I thought over this idea for a few weeks before i got to work on it, i think it will work wonderfully.

I was not sure how something like this would go over, Although with your input I am positive now maybe I should go ahead and submit.

I did not want my support ticket laughed out of the system, thanks

Yes as soon as I come up with a more official name

I am having trouble naming something like this because of the way It is being made, i was thinking something stupid like "Communitorium" or some other crazy mis-spelling of a common word.

I cant go having many people logging on yet either, I want everything to be ready for everyone at once.

This is probably what Curt was talking about. You said the PW is finished, but you also said it isn't ready. I always thought finished meant done ... as in, you know ... ready?

Since it is "proven" you should know .

I did not mean Ready as in Oh no i am not finished. Maybe I used Finished wrong anyways as no playerworld is ever "Finished" More content needs to be added to keep players right? I think I covered that.

Haha that last one was good, thanks for pointing that out, but sometimes statistics are not always 100% solid, could be 90% sometimes, 89 another, 91 another.

But average is ~ 90%.

It was just confusing (mostly with the whole finished, but not ready deal). I think it makes more sense to say that a server is ready, but not yet finished (and no good server ever will be).

But that post clarified what you mean by it.

Good luck with the server, btw .

No. ProjectR is still ProjectR.

For what it is the server is being "developed" on ProjectR though, untill a time comes when it can be put up by itself.

No sorry it isnt, Seph cleared that up already, this is something I have done on my own. After watching all those "What do you want in graal" threads fly by pretty much ignored. Sure they were posted in, but the OPs did not take the opinions to heart i guess.

I wanted to take those opinions to heart, and I did, but the main problem is I dont have the money myself to get a server. I also dont want to take down what I had given to projectr in the first place.

But i dont see any other way to get my playerworld online right now. So i will just keep refining some things until I find a way.

Thanks for comments
