Graal Kingdoms: New Beginning?

When will the server be reset or made into a new one like Stefan said he would do? I want to play again, and RP. But it is hard when you miss 6 months, come back, you have no items, your house is gone, and everyone is level 100.

I guess there have been tons of threads and discussions on this, GK will probably never be reset for clear reasons.

Yea too sad =/. Iam playing again and try to hold the high level standart tec is lvl 93 huh and iam just lvl 16 .

Level 93?!?!? Oh my ass!!

Graal Kingdoms should be reset for the following reasons;

1. Some have been playing a long time and have abused many bugs
2. The current money situation was caused by number 1
3. The "olbies" have been higher levels when new monsters were added, so they could kill them easier and also contributed to the money situation
4. It would drop the player base at first, losing players because they are pissed off, but would raise it afterwards, players would feel they have more of an even chance
5. A reset would help control RPing a little better, if done correctly
6. I realize a reset will never happen

There really doesn't need to be a reset. Many people are doing fine right now. Satrek and others are about level 35+ and they don't really have any event/alchemy items...If they can do it, so can anyone else. I try to help the newbies out by giving them a basic package consisting of silver plate mail, silver warrior helmet and flaming sword. If they aren't lazy, I am sure they can achieve level 30 no problem.

I am only level 38 (since I quit for 2 months) which isn't that high anymore but I still deal with it. Tec lives in maps, that's the only reason he is level 93. He's earned it and I don't see why he and others (including myself) should be punished for something we earned o.O I mean cmon, if we reset now, in the future, new players are going to arrive. Are we going to reset AGAIN just because they feel it's unfair?

Actually, it does.
If what i have heard is correct anyway.
I mean, it was supposed to be reset when it was out of alpha, everyone is a giant level, everyone has all this money that staff gave them, or that they scammed or got when they were testing it out alpha or et items or all kinds of things like that, and it's really un-fair to new players.
It would be nice to see UC, someone making a better start for players, a better class/gender system, a better rp system, and then put it all up and then reset everyone.

Oh, and i fail to see how you can't roleplay without a house and a high number in your profile.

How so? If you don't want to rp, you won't, no matter what. Also, while you can rp incorporating items - personally, I hold a dagger crafted from the black bones of the first demon I slew - items themselves neither encourage you to rp nor prevent you.
Plus, you'll still have pkers and people who ty to annoy after a reset, who'll most likely resort to powergaming and would wreck more havoc than they can now.

:cough: He hasnt earned most of his latest levels... I'd say.. about 20 or 30 of them... But, he did earn his earlier ones...

I think that it would be good if Stefan could make a copy of GK and reset the copy, so the high level people can stick around on the present GK with all of their "leet" items, and other people who want to start again and RP would go on the reset version.
And not all oldbies are high levels. Raziel played since near the beginning of GK, and was level 18 when he quit, because he didn't spend all of his time levelling up.

I'd like that as well; a seperate, new GK. Perhaps they will have it after they finish 3.0?

GK did have a reset..it was when they came out with the new menus and the whole drag and drop system.

Roleplaying isnt the issue, there's not much roleplaying on GK anyway. Another server where roleplaying just wont happen.

I would have no problem if all alchemy items would be taken and event items given out as much as last year =( well it fixes mess with mess but thats the only alternative to a reset.
and european em's are needed again BADLY. all events like 0-2 am for me i only could participe in last days cuza holidays.
