I think you didnt understand the mechanic of these event.
Everybody gets 3 free gifts you can GIVE to your friends. 1 per player. If you want to gift more friends, you have to buy extra gift boxes for 10 NC each, they will again have 3 random items in it for your friend.
The 3 other boxes which costs 105,205,305 NC containing 100,200,300 NC PLUS the 3 random items, which you gift to a friend. So you basically dont buy gifts for yourself. Always for someone else.
