Nothing, I guess I wasnt inspired persay, I came up with it in my head. I was inspired by what I came up with in my head. I did get some of the idea from the horse archer from aoe.

The hat has a nice look to it in general. The overall design is nice, how you have the "Shingles" type things, or whatever. Looks more like a roof than a straw hat, but that's okay. However, that hat itself doesn't quite look like it has dimension. Yes, it has shading. No, it doesn't look like it's sitting on somones head. This is just a quick sketch addon, but you should get what I mean:

Yeah, Its supposed to be one of those japanese pesent hats that go over the head and the head is in hte middle of the cone thats why the curve goes downard instead of upward.

That's easy to fix ofcourse, just add a border design on the top ending before the skin.

You can tell in the colored version, at least I can.

LOL, his ears are covered by the mask and the eyes have dark circles under them because of the hat and the mask.
