There's style types in art. Surreal, abstract, digital abstract, pop culture, propaganda, and of course many others. Pixel art refers to classical "Pixelation" methods.(Or atleast that's what I've seen and read from all the pixel art communities.
) As seen in games like Street Fighter, SNK, or many fighting games. Sure, everyone can do what they want when it comes to art. However, if you're going to join a style and practice it, make sure you're following tradition. That's how I look at it. As said before, you're taking me too seriously. You get worked up over trivial things, you don't know me and I don't know you. ^____^
