Seriously, everyone says that they could revive 2k1- ask anyone who's seen the development side, and they'll tell you it's not easy. 2K1's appeal comes from a playerbase- first you have to reaquire that playerbase. If you don't do enough for them, they leave out of boredom. If you do too much and change the basic fundamentals of the server, they leave because it's no longer what they want. It's a very fine balance, and the amount of work that goes into anything you make for 2k1 is quite substantial as well. Ask Shadowless if it's easy to make an entire kingdom by yourself. 2K1 is a very precarious server, because it's very easy to ruin, and very easy to make great. |
