Kaiser2 is on a distinguished road
I had this long drawn out RP idea for Zormite, where the true alien Bomies would land their ship on Zormite (drawn by the mystical energies the powerful mages of Zormite emenate), and begin their assault on our little island. Their ship would land directly on the castle, annihilating it or at least severely damaging it. The alien Bomies would be actual enemies, and incredibly powerful, powerful to a point where not the combined force of all the top 15 players in the game would be able to kill one. The forces of Zormite's allies (and independant forces of the other kingdoms perhaps) would come to our aid, but to no avail. The armies would be defeated, and would sail away in sadness because they were unable to help their comrades.

The Zormites would stay and fight, of course, to defend their homeland. Eventually, the Zormites would somehow manage to force the Bomies back to the ship, but it'd turn out that this was just a trick to break the Zormite lines and kill us all in the confusion. After such an event (the whole withdrawing and such would be just RPing, since it'll be hard to make enemies do something like that on purpose, I imagine.), it'd turn out that one Zormite would still be alive (probably royalty or one of our top mages [Well, the top mage is...me.]), and he would crawl to the ship, and give his life for one final spell to destroy the Bomies (I'm guessing we'd use Destruction, even though it's actually a pretty crappy spell, in game.), the Gods themselves would be drawn to such an act of self-sacrificing bravery, and would strengthen his spell. Unfortunately, the spell becomes TOO powerful, and not only destroys the alien Bomies, but it causes the land itself to change, sinking the island below water. But, the explosion unearths an ancient artifact, left over by the Emperor of many centuries ago, because he was able to foresee this event, and left it there for this exact reason. The artifact is magical (of course), and does something to the water. The water then, would trigger something in the bodies of the fallen Zormites (not like any are alive now...) and revitalizes them, restoring their lives and returning them to the way they used to be eons ago, dwellers of the underwater kingdom.

((Basically I started with the idea of turning the Zormites back into fish people, and creating an underwater kingdom, and then worked on from there. Excuse all spelling and grammatical errors, as I wrote this while watching T.V.))

I think, in general, we need more earth-shattering events. It's boring when nothing changes.
