i use layer translucency in pixel art. you can change the shading hue and depth on the fly with a little slider. its awsome
i understand the need to minimize colors if your making sprites for cell phone games and gba games. but this is PC games we're talking about. Id rather have my file be 1k bigger to keep the quality you would use by cutting down the colors. too much dithering makes it look crappy |
