Yes, but it is a potential advantage - rather wait till night/day is avaliable and add it, than adding something else to screw the system up

You also get immunity from disease, which is quite nice since there are some nasty buggers arround nowadays. In addition, cause many wounds iw a worthwhile prayer, even though it is medium level. Plus, you get some nice cold-resistance which always comes in handy.
