One thing i have seen going on recently... is that some events that are being held only people who have good items win

another thing a couple of nights ago a Event master was on and Loriel was on...... the Event master asked loriel for some Et coins so he could hold some events but loriel wouldn't give him any coins =/ thats just wrong!
