Eh, let me give you this analogy:
Say you were working a typical teenage job, let's make it a McDonald's cook (ick). Let's say that your car gets firebombed. You get fired because you can't go to your job anymore. Sounds reasonable? Yes, because if you aren't able to do the job that you semi-volunteered to do, then it doesn't make much sense if someone else should hold that job up for you until the situation gets resolved. It's not about
