I don't like that idea - it links rank to level, and (appearantly) without requiring being in a kingdom. I think a kingdom should a) decide which ranks it gives, and b) decide who it gives them to. Certainly some of these decisions can prove wrong, but you learn from your mistakes not to make them again. With such a system, "*****s" can level up and powergame themselves in such positions, ruining roleplaying even more than they can do now. |
