GUI's: They're decent except for the choices of colors. I would also choose a different texture (assuming you used a texture) on the blue bar in the first screenshot.
"Rock" Monster: Looks more like a cookie monster. To be blunt, it's horrible, you mentioned you did the animations, so I guess you guys should try to redesign it in the same coordinates of that one.
The rest isn't bad, I wish you luck.

PS: I'm attaching a picture of something that should be fixed. Your bush tile's backround is one shade of green and it does not blend in well.
