Electricity attacktype is VERY good. It's never failed me against other people...so I don't see your problem with it.

Brigid gives very nice regen advantages, as she is used for those spellcasters. Plus her spells are suppose to be nice if they worked. And lets not forget her Relics? Just used for her avatar my butt. :o

Now on to Dian. If you blind somebody with his blind attacktype, you can forget about them hitting you while blind. It's a great attacktype if you just don't want people hitting you.

And finally Aengus. Luck+2? Enough said. Makes map drop more often as other things, makes spells easier to learn. Yummy.

The complaints you bring forth about most of the Gods can be fixed by not worshipping the God. Like you say Aengus is for if you use bows, so if you don't use bows, simply don't pray to him.

And I think I typed too much....yep.
