even if there was a reset, people above level 50 should at least be able to choose the one weapon or item that would help them the most, but ONLY 1 item the people below 50 could keep there items that would help even things out i think

Pssh, that wouldn't work at all. People would just "give" their other weapons to lower level friends temporarily.
