It just seems to me that MoonGoddess doesn't want to "lose", or be "stepped on", so she is fighting to be unbanned just because she doesn't want to feel like they got the upper hand.

It's their server, if they want to ban everyone from it, that is their decision. What the hell is this "player's rights" bullcrap? This never existed. I see nowhere in the rules stating that players have to be banned for valid reasons, on terms that the person being banned accepts. Do you realize how many people would complain about being banned?

Every single ban would be fought over, seeing as how nobody is going to believe they deserve to be banned for any reason. That is why it says IN THE RULES, that the staff may ban you for any reason. If they feel you are even GOING to be a threat to their server, they can ban you.

I know I'm doing it with Oasis, and I'll fight the PWA the entire way. If I know some person is a jerk or an idiot, I'm going to ban them BEFORE they can ruin someone's fun on my playerworld.
If this was a free Game I might agree with you BUT this isn't and as a P2P Game you cannot unjustly block someone’s access to any part of the game. Those kinds of rules went out when P2P was ushered in. As consumers the players have rights and can be upheld in court, this is the point I am making. Everyday court battles are fought over consumer’s rights and violation of said rights. When you accept peoples money and provide them with a service, in this case a Game to play, they have the right as a consumer to access all portions to the Game as long as the terms of play are abided by and paid for; to do anything other than that constitutes fraud to the consumer.

If you deny a players right to play a server then you have to provide proof that the terms of Game play were violated, then the Game has every right to restrict as it sees fit the player but the player MUST be afforded the opportunity of making a violation first even though you know they will. To keep yourself in the right all you can do is sit back and wait for them to do that, then when they do "POW" problem solved their gone.
