ok... i've worked out a nice battle system
basicaly enemies walk around an area, they dont attack you there (they're just normal npc's with the "baddy" look...) but instead if they touch you they warp you to a "battle zone" where a fight takes place. This could be used to acomadate[gah cant spell

] larger battle's using only one "enemy" on the main screen. when enemies are touched on the main screen they automatically teleport the player to an arena and in the main area they become dontblocked and drawunderplayer. If the player loses the fight then the enemy carries on and if the player wins the enemy dissapears and the player is returned to where he/she left from.
*gasps for air*
this could be especially useful when fighting bosses because, like on shaded legend (i think) the system of being bounced back to where you where if someone is already in a story mode zone is annoying... specially if the person is a **** or sits there for AGES...
by making bosses dissapear only localy then any number of player could fight it at the same time without interference...
although there would need to be a hundred or so battle arena's waiting (eg if one is full the enemy npc chooses another)
...thats my idea...anyone like it?
and btw dont ask me to make this because at the moment i'm stuck on making guild-house doors... =/
