You make it sound as if RC should be a salty snack.

Also built in rc? Hellz nom there's no way am going to logg on rc just to be on player? Why should i? This feature for built in should only be for mac since they already have it soo i heared. Why make it bad for the rest of us? I for one don't like this idea of a rc on player. I mean come on add some new features but don't screw it up for the rest of us... Is this a reason for idle rc? Shouldn't there be a time stamp on people who are idle? You can have a script that simply you move your mouse over that person name and it would show how long the person been idle. Other features such as smiley on rc/welcome note (like updated news for staffs) are good features to start with. Gezze i swear if this happens i would quit graal.
I guess you will be quitting Graal. You guys seem to misunderstand what integration will mean. If implemented correctly there will be numerous advantages to both players and developers in comparison to standalone programs. Integration does not mean you have to run client mode to access RC (unless this is the plan, which would be a bad idea). It should mean that client mode and rc mode can be accessed individually or simultaneously using one program. I agree that this will be horrible with bad implementation, but I have confidence that this is inevitably a step forward for Graal. Lets just see what happens before we dismiss the idea.
