I've already acknowledged that it was only meant as a joke. Despite this, it was still an example of extremely poor judgement, and offensive to intelligent people. You overestimate your sense of humor. I would never laugh at such a simple, crude joke, and I would certainly never use it myself. I posit that if anybody else said it then you would be offended - especially if you were part of the group it attacked. You have a strong selective blindness where your own misconduct is concerned.
