Well, if you put those two sentences together you have more of what's probably the truth. In other words, he can't afford to waste money on a game he doesn't really wish to come back to after being banned.
edit: And with all the problems in Graal right now, I don't blame him. I don't see why new people come or stay. Right now, Graal is probably mostly for Graal addicts.
