But what will be done with this information? Surely you don't believe that the administration would remove the swear filter just because some people are unable to express themselves intelligently (that is to say, without every other word being a swear).

It's used as an insult too frequently. Additionally, I believe that the filter is not set up to censor the word when it occurs by itself without censoring it also when it appears within another word.
Perhaps you should have asked "How can the swear filter be updated?" or something along those lines, if that was what you were trying to say.
