I don't see inflation as a problum at all, ("Supply and Demand") Supply of diamonds are somewhat rare, and demand is very high, so the price goes up to encourage people into selling them. You can complain about this, or profit off of it! (like me!)

Ever sence I returned to Kingdoms I've been getting money faster then I could spend it, it's because of diamonds! I'd go to the mines, dig up a heckload of iron, take it home, put the diamonds in with my money, repeat until I have plenty of iron, then take the diamonds and head to town. +6k, then I'd find Enchant Armor in store, *Charisma* I'd buy it, then go sell it for a profit, +1k! All the while buying every interesting magic spell I found, which is starting to get rare. I got a darn good spellbook at my fingertips now, and I FINALY ran out of money! (I still only have heal minor wounds though x.x blah) Still gotta sell this scroll of missile weapons though.

Moral of the Story: When life gives you Lemons, make LOTS OF MONEY!
